Open Day - 8th June
The Club is hosting its annual Open Day on the 8th June from 12 Noon to 4:00pm and this year its going to be bigger and better as its being run in conjunction with the Spalding 'Celebrate the River Day'.
We will be offering members of the public a chance to experience a short sailing session in one of our Club boats. As numbers are expected to be high we strongly recommend booking your slot in advance to avoid disapointment. We will have three boats available to service bookings but we will also have two available for 'turn up and go' sessions subject to demand.
As safety is our utmost priority, everyone must wear a buoyancy aid (provided) and sailing will be
subject to weather conditions. If the wind strength is too high on the day we will have to cancel
the slots. In this unlikely scenario we will endeavour to let pre booked visitors know as soon as
practicable and where possible suggest alternative dates.
Our training fleet

We have 5 RS Visions. These are a good training boat with a good balance between stability and being fun to sail. Can accommodate two crew plus the helm.

The Wayfarer is a traditional boat with lots of room and can accommodate three crew plus the helm.

The Laser 2000 is a modern training boat that's fun to sail. Suitable for two crew and the helm.
